My mom passed away in 2019 and I was left to sell the family home. The only problem is I live in Florida and CoVid-19 was rearing its ugly head which made travel difficult. I found Vicki online as I was looking at what price local homes were selling for in the Lexington area. I saw a home, similar to my mom’s home and it was listed and sold within a short period of time by Vicki. I reached out to her in August of 2020. I requested references and followed up with them and received rave reviews of her. I then arranged a meeting for October 2020 when I was traveling up to Ohio from Florida to start the clean out of the house. I knew on our first meeting she is someone I could work with. She is very knowledgeable and extremely personable, and she understood how emotional this was going to be for me. She had a list of things I could work on before we put it on the market. The home was not totally cleaned out until January 2021. There were a few problems that needed our attention before we put the “FOR SALE” sign in the yard. Vicki was able to meet with contractors to let them in and give estimates and to fix small things before the house was listed. I also had a “huge” project that needed to be completed before we put the “For Sale” sign in the yard. I requested a quote from a national company I had heard of the estimate came back and I was flabbergasted at the cost, she reached out to another local company and they came in and gave an estimate that was more reasonable. Vicki was able to check on the progress of the work and report back to me. Vicki is someone who really does go the extra mile and makes sure the job gets done. She walked me through the different offers that were made and help me understand the real value of my mom’s home. Once the offer was accepted by me, she kept on top of what was happening and kept me informed. I couldn’t have chosen a better realtor to work with! I have rented my entire life and never really thought much of owning a home. With no experience of selling our property: We didn’t have an idea of what to ask for the sale. We needed to not sell to soon because of our move in date at our condo. We had a lot of things to get moved out. Bill advised us to get inspection of septic system, basement walls and leaks of any water fixed, and a whole home inspection. This was great advise, we then just referred to reports for condition of property. We are very thankful to Bill for leading us through our sale! We recommend him to all as great choice.
